HIST 0315 - Women in the History of the United States Credits: 3 Semester: 1st Semester Lecture: Lect. And Disc. 3 The course will concentrate on the various roles, strategies and achievements of women in the United States from colonial times to the present. The course will analyze the difficulties encountered by women who belong to beleaguered ethnic groups. Women will be studied in the context of their interactions with the political, social, religious and aesthetic institutions of American society.
Prerequisite(s): Any six-hour combination of HIST 0103 , HIST 0104 , HIST 0210 , HIST 0211 .
