HIST 0220 - History of Africa Credits: 3 credits each Semester Semester: 1st Semesters Lecture: Lect. and Disc. 3 A historical consideration of Africa from earliest times to the present. History 0220 focuses on the major economic ,intellectual, political, religious and social developments on the African continent from the origins of man to 1600 AD History 0221 analyzes the Atlantic slave trade, colonialism, nationalist movements, and neocolonialism on the African continent from 1600 A D to the present.
Prerequisite(s): HIST 0103 and HIST 0104
