HIST 0105 - The Black Experience in Americas Credits: 3 Semester: 1st and 2nd Semesters Lecture: Lecture and discussion This course will provide an inquiry into the background and development of African Americans on the continent of North and South America. Emphasis will be placed on the black experience in slavery, there in the political, social and economic development of the United States, and social and cultural movements in the North and South America.
Prerequisite(s): for History Majors: HIST 0103 and HIST 0104 ; for non-History Majors: HIST 0103 , a choice to select HIST 0104 or HIST 105.
