Principles and design of operating systems. The notion of a process, inter-process communication and synchronization, file systems, memory management, multiprocessor and distributed operating systems.
Prerequisite(s): CSCI 0225 and CSCI 0230 or Departmental Approval.
Requirements: A major project is required.
