CSCI 0230 - Data Structures Credits: 3 Semester: 1st and 2nd Semester Lecture: 3 This course is designed to introduce students to the description, properties and storage (array and pointer based) of abstract data structures including stacks, queues, lists and trees. Introduce algorithms for efficient searching, insertion and deletion in data structures stored in internal memory. Analysis of algorithms for sorting and hashing is also discussed.
Prerequisite(s): CSCI 0220 Corequisite(s): CSCI 0300 or Departmental Approval.
