CSCI 0220 - Programming II

This course is designed to introduce students to design and develop medium size programs through different types of applications. The disciplines of software engineering will be used for program development. Essentially, this course covers the use of object-oriented programming to implement software solutions. Students will learn how to design a solution to a problem by reusing existing components, and by creating new components using inheritance. Other topics include: pointers, exception handling, standard template library and recursion.

Prerequisite(s): CSCI 0210  or Departmental Approval.
