CHEM 0320 - Organic Chemistry I

This is the first course in a two-semester organic chemistry sequence. Topics include the structure, bonding, nomenclature, stereochemistry, reactions, and synthesis of organic compounds. Emphasis is placed on reaction mechanisms, structure-reactivity relationships, and problem-solving as a foundation for advanced study in chemistry and related disciplines.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 0232 and CHEM 0234
Corequisite(s): CHEM 0322 .
