CHEM 0307 - Quantitative Analysis

An introduction to the principles and methods of quantitative analytical chemistry. Topics include sampling techniques, statistical treatment of analytical data, chemical equilibria, acid-base titrations, gravimetric analysis, electrochemical methods, spectrophotometry, atomic spectroscopy, and chromatographic separation techniques. Emphasis is placed on quantitative problem-solving, data interpretation, analytical measurements, and the application of analytical methods to chemical, biological, environmental, and industrial systems.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 0232  and CHEM 0234  
Corequisite(s): CHEM 0308 .
