Semester: 1st & 2nd, summer
Foundations of computational thinking using the Python programming language. Topics include basics: variables and expressions; flow control: decision and loop structures, data structures: strings, lists, tuples, dictionaries and sets; functions; input/output and file manipulation; modules and libraries; errors and exception handling; object-oriented concepts; recursion; debugging and testing techniques.
