COEG 0470 - SENIOR DESIGN I

Semester: 1st & 2nd, summer
Student teams develop proposals for a comprehensive analysis of an engineering product or process. Topics include how to apply the steps of the design process in identifying and formulating an engineering problem, development of project tasks timeline, development of specifications, and analysis of various approaches. Additional topics include engineering ethics as related to professionalism, safety, workplace responsibilities and rights, and global issues.
