MENG 0518 - ADVANCED MATERIALS SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

This course introduces students coming from various disciplines to materials science and engineering. Different types of advanced materials, modern material needs, processing techniques, properties and applications will be discussed. Material degradation upon exposure to various environments, proper selection of materials and design considerations, and economic and recycling issues related to materials will be introduced.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate Standing and MENG 0318.
