CSCI 0510 - 4TH Generation Languages

Credits: 3
Semester: 1st or 2nd Semesters
This course will survey the variety of computing that are used as alternatives to or extensions of general purpose third-genera- tion languages (i.e. PASCAL, FORTRAN,C). Some of these extensions are: programmable command languages (i.e. UNIX Shell), special purpose languages, prototyping tools application, fourth- generation languages. The coursework will include both conceptual and hands-on treatment.

Prerequisite(s): CSCI-0230 and CSCI-0320
