CSCI 0400 - Numerical Analysis I

Credits: 3
Semester: 1st or 2nd Semesters
Sources of computational error, interpolation and approximation. Direct and interactive methods for linear systems of equations. Numerical differentiation and integration. Solution of nonlinear equations. Solutions of ordinary differential equations. Use of Mathematical Subroutine Packages. Programming projects.

Prerequisite(s): MATH-0208 or Departmental Approval
