ISCS 0510 - Statistics with R Credits: 3 Semester: 1st Semester Lecture: 3 Fundamental concepts of data representation and organization, measure of central tendency, elementary probability theory, frequency distributions, basic sampling theory, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, Chi-square test and t-test. Students will use the R programming language to analyze data.
Prerequisite(s): CSCI 0230 and Graduate standing with a minimum of 1 contemporary programming language 3-credit hour course, or Departmental Approval.
