VMED 0871 - Food Animal Heard Health and Production Medicine

Credits: 2
This course deals with modern and practical production methods and their interactions with disease management and control. Selected medical procedures and surgical operations commonly used in food animal practices are demonstrated. Field trips are sponsored to nearby production units to provide first- hand information on the various types of management systems.

Prerequisite(s): Approval of the course coordinator.
