MILS 0302 - Applied Leadership in Small Unit Operations Credits: 3 Semester: 2nd Semester Lecture: Lect. & Conf. 3 hrs weekly This course focuses on applied leadership in small unit operations. It is an academically challenging course where Cadets will study, practice, and apply the fundamentals of direct level leadership and small unit tactics at the platoon level. At the conclusion of this course, Cadets will be capable of planning, coordinating, navigating, motivating, and leading a platoon in the execution of a mission. Cadets will facilitate a leadership lab each week overseen by MSIVs, supervised by Cadre. Successful completion of this course will help prepare Cadets for the Cadet Summer Training Advance Camp, which Cadets will attend in the summer at Fort Knox, KY.
Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory completion of MILS 0301. Corequisite(s): MILS 302L Physical Training: 3 hrs weekly
