MBIO 413G - Immunology

This course deals with the structure, function, and kinetics of immune responses in relation to infectious, neoplastic, allergic, immunodeficiency, and autoimmune diseases. Initially the students will be exposed to basic and fundamental aspects of the immune system. The course offers systematic, high-quality lectures on immunology covering the major topics of basic and clinical immunology focusing, in particular, on the new advances in vaccines, immune intervention of chronic diseases such as hypersensitivities, autoimmune and immunodeficiency diseases.
