HIST 0346 - The Cold War and Beyond

Lecture: Lect. and Disc. 3
An examination of the origins and course of the Cold War from its post- World War II roots to its end with the collapse of the Soviet Union. Special attention will be given to post-World War II conferences and confrontations, superpower relations and international crises, nuclear diplomacy, the Cold War’s impact on the Third World, and the consequences of the Cold War’s end.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 0102 .
