HIST 0309 - Black Leadership in the Freedom Struggle: Martin Luther King, Jr., and Malcolm X Credits: 3 Semester: Alternate 1st Semesters Lecture: Lect. and Disc. 3 This course examines the social, cultural and religious context out of which Martin Luther King and Malcolm X emerged. Special attention will be given to their distinct and common perspectives on the African American situation in America.
Prerequisite(s): 3 hours of history or sophomore standing.
