A mathematical model is an abstract model that uses mathematical language to describe the behavior of a system, and mathematical modeling is the link between mathematics and the rest of the world. The methods of mathematical modeling and simulation are used widely in sciences and engineering disciplines. in this course, the topics of dynamic models, probability models, optimization models and the simulation of dynamic models will be covered.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 0307 and EENG 0476
