EENG 0431. CONTROL SYSTEMS. 1st and 2nd Semester. Lect. 3, Lab 0, 3 credits. Fundamental principles of open loop and closed loop automatic control systems. System functions. Analysis of closed loop control systems and their transient and steady state response; stability and design of stabilizing controllers. Bode plots, polar plots, root locus and compensation network methods. State variable analysis.
