Introduction to parallel/distributed computer architectures. Numerical methods using sequential programming. Parallel programming techniques. Numerical methods using parallel programming. Applications to typical problems from chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.
Prerequisite(s): Any introductory programming course such as CSCI 0229 , CSCI 0210 , CSCI 0205 . MATH 0208 or Departmental Approval
