Introduction to Java Programming language. This course covers structure of the Java language, programming with Java, create applications and applets using Java run-time class libraries, introduction to different features of Abstract Windowing Toolkit (AWT), use standard Java classes and incorporating applets into Web pages.
Prerequisite(s): CSCI 0229 or Departmental Approval.
