CSCI 0415 - Management Information Systems Credits: 3 Semester: 1st Semester Lecture: 3 Understanding the values and uses of information and information technology for management of complex organizations. Transaction processing trends. Decision support systems and Expert systems. Office automation technology. Information Technology for strategic advantage, planning, and control. International and ethical issues. Case studies of real-world problems. This course cannot be used as a CSCI elective for CSCI (general) majors.
Prerequisite(s): CSCI 0220 or Departmental Approval.
