The course will cover basic programming using R. Probability and statistical computation using R. Course topics include numerical and graphical summaries of data, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, analysis of variance, regression, cluster analysis, data cleaning. At the end of the course student should be able to apply statistical inference procedures and draw conclusions
Prerequisite(s): CSCI 230/CSCI 305, CSCI 360/ISCS 510, MATH 407, or Departmental Approval
