MEDT 0330 - Introduction to Medical Technology and Education

Semester: 1st Semester
Lecture: 3
This course focuses on the history of clinical laboratory science, professionalism, professional organization, certification, registration, licensure, entry level requirements, career advancement, mobility, and salaries, as related to the clinical laboratorian. Some overlapping from 1HSC 0101 will be included, to demonstrate interrelationships of the health professionals in “total patient care” and meeting current goals of the health care delivery system. Introduction to educational methodology is included.
