HIST 0201 - Introduction to Historical Research

Credits: 3
Semester: 1st Semester only
Lecture: Lecture
This course is designed to introduce second year history majors to methods of historical research and writing. Through the use of primary sources, students will learn how to think, interpret, an analyze history in order to write a sufficient narrative. in order for students to learn the craft of a historian, they must utilize historical centers: archives, repositories, historical societies, museums, etc.

Prerequisite(s): HIST 0103  and HIST 0104 .
