CSCI 0360 - Applied Statistics and Statistical Computing

Semester: 2nd Semester
Lecture: 3
Fundamental concepts of data representation and organization, measure of central tendency, elementary probability theory, frequency distributions, basic sampling theory, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, Chi-square test and t-test. Students may use currently available software to analyze data.

Prerequisite(s): CSCI 0210  and MATH 0108  or Departmental Approval.
