AENG 0472 - Composite Materials

Introduction to aerospace composite materials and structures: types of fibers used, thermosetting and thermoplastic matrix systems, mechanics of lamina and laminate. Students are introduced to manufacturing processes and testing through hands-on work.

Prerequisite(s): AENG 0342 , and senior standing.
