Mathematics General Education

A student majoring in mathematics must complete all courses that are considered a part of the General Core Curriculum Requirement.

General Education Requirements


Three credit hours selected from the following courses:

Four credit hours selected from the following:


(must obtain a grade of “C” or better if course will be used as a prerequisite for a higher level Mathematics course)

  • An approved option of twelve credit hours in a pattern of courses in the same discipline.
