EDUC 0113 - Freshman Seminar in Teaching I

Credits: 1
Semester: 1st and 2nd Semesters.
A general orientation to programs, policies, and procedures in the School of Education. The following topics will be covered: (1) teaching as a profession, (2) essential knowledge needed to teach, (3) ideas and events that help shape education in the United States, and some of the issues teachers are confronted with in schools today.
